Court sacks Okezie Ikpeazu Declare Alex Oti Gov Abia state'

An Appeal Court has declared the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Alex Otti, the winner of the Abia State Governorship election.

Otti had filed a notice of appeal against the judgment of the election tribunal, which dismissed the petition he filed against the election of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

The court, in its ruling on Thursday, ordered the swearing in of Otti, as governor of Abia State and asked Okezie Ikpeazu to vacate the office.

Ikpeazu of the Peoples Democratic Party was declared winner of the election held in April by the Independent National Electoral Commission
