V-Channel unveils new super presenters
In a carnival like atmosphere that provided the guests with the feel good experience, the V-Channel team on Friday, February 22, 2013 unveiled its new presenters. The night of fun, glamour and anticipation took place at Troy Lounge, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos. The unveiling, which started by 9pm with red carpet, had industry stakeholders, media executives, agency heads, entertainment personalities and select guests in attendance.
The presenters, consisting of six ladies and five men, were obviously excited and eager to express themselves and entertain the audience. They would handle various segments on the channel. Annabel presents Comedy, Bridget hosts the Ladies’ Forum, April takes charge of Celebrity Interviews, Oyinda presents Musicals, Zaziya anchors Food/Lifestyle, Perpetua presents Fashion and Style, Papasam does the Dance segment, Patrick presents Musicals, Jude hosts E-Campus, Speens anchors Excite on TV, and Chemist boy hosts the Comedy Challenge. V-Channel, a spanking new entertainment channel airing on Channel 221 on Cable TV, Startimes aims at changing the phase of the entertainment world, with its diverse and exclusive packages.
It is an entertainment platform targeted at youths. It’s a blend of fresh African movies, drama series, celebrity lifestyle shows, fashion & style, reality TV shows, kiddies programmes, comedy, musical content, game shows and other exciting television experiences. Sola Fajobi, CEO of V-Channel, says: "The platform is aimed at delivering credible alternative and varieties, the world becomes more enjoyable and worth living when you have assorted alternatives.
Without varieties, the world is monotonous. The world is void. The world is formless; nothing satisfies the soul like different experiences of unforgettable memories. We hope to deliver variety of rewarding experiences to our TV audience and engage them in a more meaningful way than ever before." V-Channel’s Lifestyle and Event Manager, Mr. Yemisi Olubode said the presenters have what it takes to succeed. "These young and vibrant individuals are set to change the game. They know what the people want, they understand it, and they’ve got what it takes to deliver. The entertainment world is about to experience an exceptional makeover," he stated.
